VAVOOM VERTICALS

We are embracing the most innovative format in the film industry since talking pictures, that of the micro drama or vertical. Our first film will be shot in August 2026.

Vertical Genres

We will be concentrating on the following:

Period or historical stories with depth, suspense, romance and if possible based on true stories. Drama, Family, Horror, Romance, Thriller

Vertical Involvement

We will shortly be launching an equity crowdfund. The investors at a minimum of £100 per share will get a return for life yearly on our profits. We intend to start in the first year with 8 more films. We have made 1 and will buy films in and make more, year after year for our library. So returns will continue and increase.

Stage 1 round investment - investors will be paid back before producers take any profits pari parissu.

Vertical film Information

Verticals are usually shot in 7-9 days with 50-60 x 1-2 minute sections. Ideal for viewing on the phone. Full feature length. The budgets are smaller.

It's fast, furious with exciting results. The industry is not so reliant on famous actors. The films are distributed through apps, websites or on youtube and other social media. This gives film makers more control of distribution.

We are interested in finished microdrama scripts only on historical subjects or concepts. We pay £2200 for an approx 5--60 episode feature and £300 for a 3 - 5 page outline of true historical stories only. Submit to luminocasting@hotmail.com. Payment is due on principle day of photography.
